This information supports the Biden Administration’s “Cancer Moonshot.”  EPA undertakes carcinogen control efforts by applying legal authority under many of the environmental protection statutes it administers. OSHA also requires employers to post an annual I&I Summary in each workplace “establishment” by February 1, summarizing that workplace’s I&Is during the previous calendar year. In addition, OSHA requires some employers to submit some of this I&I information electronically to the agency. (I wrote about the initial electronic reporting requirements [HERE](https://blog.stpub.com/osha-requiring-employers-to-submit-injury-and-illness-information)). On July 21 OSHA updated and revised these electronic reporting requirements (finalizing a proposal I wrote about [HERE](https://blog.stpub.com/osha-proposes-to-revise-injury-and-illness-reporting-requirements)). Delegated state-run programs impose comparable requirements. Furthermore, OSHA requires some employers to submit their summaries electronically to OSHA – this year by March 3, 2023.
