The STP RegHub is an exciting new service that offers a continuously updated online library of essential regulatory documents spanning environmental, health, safety and transportation laws and regulations. The scope of regulatory coverage is currently the Federal United States and all 50 plus states and includes a wide range of content and topics, such as, Air, Water, Waste, Occupational Health, Safety, Community, Transportation, Chemical Management and more. 

With constant changes to regulations published in different formats and update cycles, we have created a simple to use interface that offers a repository of this mandatory informationThe STP Compliance reference libraries come with the ability to search by a table of contents display or keyword search capabilities.

This STP RegHub will be updated in release 2 in July 2020 with more robust search functionality that will contain complete monitoring capabilities and personalized alerts in STP Reg Alert. This will be followed in release 3 with STP RegRegister which will enable users to stay abreast of regulatory changes on a site and company level with legal register lists monitoring and alerts.

With STP’s RegHub simple to use interface, it will enable a company’s workforce to quickly identify, track and manage regulations that impact their business and find applicable laws and regulations. The extensive search capabilities will allow users to mine data using natural language or keywords and refine results according to specific domains, topics or jurisdictions. STP ComplianceEHS will be adding its previously delivered Ecolog’s Canadian content into this same delivery in release 3. After release 3 Mexico content will be delivered for full North American coverage.

Department of Justice Restricts Supplemental Environmental Project Agreements
Effective March 12, 2020, the US Department of Justice (DOJ) prohibits its US attorneys from entering into settlements in which DOJ lowers penalties for defendants that agree to conduct “supplemental environmental projects (SEPs)”, if the SEP involves payments to a third party. This action is the latest in a series of DOJ moves against SEPs since President Trump took office.
